in mail, what is the difference between redirect and forward?

I believe that with Redirect the email when it arrives at the new destination looks like it has gone direct to their and therefore does not have 'forwarded' splashed all over it, while Forward obviously does.

The benefit should be that if the new recipient does a reply the reply will go to the original sender and not you as a forwarder which would have been the case if you merely forwarded it.
