iTunes: automatic switch to video

I have a question concerning iTunes. Whenever I play music on my MacBook and there is a video coming up, I am automatically directed to the window in which the video is playing and if I skip it, I still get stuck in that window (animation of the song is playing). This even happens when "Do not disturb" is active. I am currently working a lot on my computer and it's really annoying if I'm re-directed in e.g., mid-sentence.

Is there a possibility to prevent iTunes from automatically re-directing me to another window?
