ARD Cursor misaligned

There is a bug (one of countless) in ARD when controlling a client mac using dual displays. In this configuration, the cursor is inexplicably misaligned with the interface, meaning you can't click on anything without guessing where it is.

First, does anybody have a workaround?

Second, I know Apple doesn't read these forums, but if anyone is reading this that has an enterprise or small business support relationship with Apple, please ask them to kick the dev team for this project in the shins. This product is still basically worthless, and bugs from version 1.0 still persists 10 years later.
