Screen flickers and freezes on Mac Pro (late 2013)

My screen randomly flickers then either goes to tan or green vertical lines then back to normal screen and freeze. Sounds continue during this. Sometimes it does this without freezing. Sometimes it does this within minutes or after an hour of use. Fully updated. I bought this new in December and it's been doing this since I got it. I thought it was the software I was using but I tested other apps and it is the computer.

SPecs:

Mac pro late 2013

iIntel Xeon 6 core 3.5 gig

dual amd FirePro d500 3074 mb graphic cards

thunderbolt display

os 10.11.4 El Capitan

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

This sounds very much like a problem with the graphics cards in your late 2013 Mac Pro. You would think that any problems with the graphics cards would be picked up by the Apple Hardware Test, but that is not always the case. The Late 2013Mac Pro has a history of graphics card problems that you can read about on the Apple Forums. I would try your Mac pro with another monitor and or another Thunderbolt cable if at all possible. This woudl rule out a problem with the monitor or cable connecting your Mac Pro to your monitor. If niether of those solve the problem, then I woudl take the Mac Pro to an Apple Store or authroized Mac service provider so that they can replace your graphics cards.
