Mac Pro external monitors now fuzzy.

I really want to go all in with Mac, but am really frustrated right now. I have 2 very solid Samsung S27E510C's, and I love the power from my Mac Pro, but I came into the office this morning and thought my eyes were having trouble because the screen was fuzzy, kind of like the bottom row of the eye chart you just can't see. But no, for some reason the monitor using a thunderbolt to HDMI cable that worked perfectly yesterday, will not work now. Please help me.

Mac Pro (Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

Check the resolution. You want the 1920x1080, the native resolution of the monitor.

You may have to dot the Scaled like to see available resolutions.

Also. there may be an Overscan setting too. If there is try changing that

I tried both. It is still fuzzy. Funny thing, I plugged my HDMI into the HDMI output of the Mac Pro, and now that screen is better. It's just the Thunderbolt to HDMI monitor that is fuzzy.

Maybe your adapter blew out.

Unless both of my adapters went bust, that does not appear to be the problem. just tried a new one. Although I just tried a new thunderbolt slot and it appears to be better... running some tests.

yeah, it's better than it was earlier today, but still not as crisp as it used to be... It's very frustrating to have such good monitors but Mac Pro can't seem to output a crisp image to them. 😟

HDMI is not the best. You can try a mini displayport>VGA adopter since the monitor has only HDMI and VGA inputs
