Apr 26, 2016 10:17 AM in response to macjackby Texcam2043,Thank You - I will go ahead and upgrade to El Capitan before my 16 GB memory arrives then. Just didn't know if that should have already been in place I have 8 now so shouldn't be an El Capitan issue. Thanks again.

Apr 26, 2016 10:20 AM in response to Texcam2043by macjack,Several things you should do before upgrading…
1. If you have issues on your present system don't compound them by installing over them. Solve them first then upgrade.
2. Check your applications for compatibility here…http://roaringapps.com/apps
3.Make a bootable clone or use TimeMachine to copy off onto another disk.
4.Disconnect all peripherals, including USB hubs.
5. After downloading the installer, it will be in /Applications folder. Copy it and then drag it to another locations like Downloads.
6 Be patient, the download takes a long time and the install may look like its died at times. Ignore it.

Apr 26, 2016 10:25 AM in response to macjackby Texcam2043,Just ran Malware Bytes at the Genius bar and Tech was happy with things that were removed and I have done the Time Machine Moments ago. It's booting up faster already which was why I had gone in to the store in the first place. So no issues that I can see - Thanks.
