Resolution of El Capitan and Mac Pro GT 120 problems?

When El Capitan came out, i updated my Mac Pro 4,1 which has three screens on three GT 120s. It was a disaster. I need three screens and buying new cards just for El Capitan makes little sense. Can anyone tell me if this has been resolved now?

Thank you. To confirm— because it's a disaster if not— the El Capitan fix now allows more than one video card. Specifically, it will allow three screens on two cards, whereas in the past it could only handle two screens on one card. Did you find that the fix requires the NVIDA new driver or does the El Capitan download resolve it by itself?

Obviously, will clone my main drive on an external drive before doing it. Thank you very much
