If you changed the password for the Apple ID being used for Find My Friends, the device should ask for the updated password before allowing the use of Find My Friends. Same with downloading apps and iCloud, and anything else that uses and Apple ID to function.

Did she have a passcode to open? If not the crooks have access to everything on that iPad. I would change all passwords to any account that was there. Some accounts like Amazon do not require a PW refresh if one is logged on.

Make sure you changed the correct Apple ID. Some people have more than one Apple ID and don't even know it, or mistakenly think their Apple ID is tied to a different email address.

Similarly, changing the email address' password does not affect the Apple ID password, even if the Apple ID is your email address. For example, if you use a Yahoo email address for your Apple ID, the password you use to buy things in iTunes may/should be different than if you were to sign into Yahoo mail online. So if you changed the Yahoo email login password, but didn't change the Apple ID password, nothing will have changed.

Try changing the password, and then open Find My Friends without signing back into the account anywhere. (Don't sign back into the Apple ID in settings, App Store, iTunes Store, etc... until you have tested Find My Friends) If you are changing your password, and then immediately signing back into the App Store or anything else, it will update Find My Friends credentials as well.

    Best of luck

I Have did all you said yesterday. The first thing I did was change Apple ID Password.

She hasn't signed in with the new password and can still excess Apples Apps like Find Friends, Messaging, ETC
