Q: i gave my iphone 4s for a friend and it doesn't accept any apple id. what can we do?

I bought it 3 years ago, new. Before I gave it we reset it.

i have now iphone 6s and i changed the apple id to my new email.

when my frind tried to activate it, it didn't accept any apple id, not his, not my old one - it says it doesnwt exists, and not  my new apple id.

it seems like we canwt use this iphone...

i created another apple id like the old one, but it didn't accepted it.
