Q: Can I change my restrictions code without iTunes? (for ipod touch 2nd gen)
This is going to sound crazy or complicated and I apologize. I will try to explain this as clear as possible. I have an old 2nd generation iPod touch and I was thinking about selling it on eBay, seeing as I never use it anymore. I tried to erase all the data on the device but it required me to put in a restriction code, however, I completely forgot the code I set up for it. It has been years since I ever used it. I've read online that you need iTunes in order to change the code, and that is impossible for me since the computer that I had used to sync my iPod with iTunes is destroyed. So now I'm left completely perplexed as to what I should do. I don't care about any of the data on my phone, all I want is to erase it all and reset the device so that it's fit to be used by someone else. If there is anyway I can change the restrictions code, please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
