I want to know how to change the picture of an established contact in my contacts list.

    Contacts (Yosemite): Add or change contact pictures

    Add or change a picture

    1. Select a card, then double-click the picture well.If the picture well is empty, drag an image to the picture well.
    2. Do one of the following to change a picture:
      • Drag an image to the picture well.
      • To use a picture from your iCloud Photo Stream, click Photo Stream.
      • To use a face from Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture, click Faces. The name in Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture must match the name in Contacts.
      • If the contact is linked to multiple accounts and has multiple account pictures, click Linked.
      • To take a picture, click Camera.
    3. Click Edit to edit the picture.
      • To zoom in and out, drag the slider.
      • To rotate the picture, hold down the Option key while you drag.
      • To apply special effects, click the Effects button.
    4. Click Done.
