Apr 26, 2016 8:06 PM in response to jzavalettaby BenB,First, grab the tail of that audio file in the Timeline and be sure it is trimmed out to the very end. The highlight of the tail is yellow if there is content left, beyond that point. It turns red if it is the physical last frame. But I've not seen FCPX cut off the end of an audio file like that before. Is it inside of a Compound Clip, by any chance? Can we see a screen shot of the Timeline, where this audio file ends?

Apr 27, 2016 9:08 AM in response to BenBby jzavaletta,Thanks for responding BenB. here is a screenshot. Trimmed out to the very end. The song is not part of a compound file (yet). Ive created a few other medleys so this is not a recurring problem. Right around the last "peak" in the timeline, there is a final guitar strum and it should just fade out naturally (as you can see) but on FCP it just goes quiet, like its edited out. I downloaded the original again and it plays fine in itunes but when i import to FCP, it does the same thing... every time. I created new projects for this medley with the same songs and it does it each time... as I recall only for this medley, not sure why. I finally had to use audacity for this medley because it was taking too much time. Advice?
