Changing ReplyTo

Is there anyway to change which post we replied to when editing and/or delete and resubmit a recently posted reply?

I've accidentally posted a few replies 'to' the last poster that were intended to address the question posted by the opening poster. Usually it is easy enough to understand the intent from context but for future reference I was curious what the standard procedure is in situations where such a missclick could create confusion.
