Q: 9.7 ipad Pro kills our wifi

You said you have reset the iPad - have you restored as NEW?
If not - Backup the device to iTunes - Restore as NEW (not from backup) - see if problem resolves - if yes - restore backup

then by all means - Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.

Go to website for your make of router check for a software update .

Also i would think about replacing your router from your isp or buy a better router

I use a NETGEAR nighthawk .

I've been this Forum / Supoort, whatever you want to call today because I have similar problems. And the common denominator is iOS 9.3.1.
