I am creating a book, most of my options are greyed out

Many of my options in Ibooks Author are greyed out, such as but not limited to;I have no option at all to add a page, or the thumbnail option is greyed out? Many other options are not available to me either, what can I do or is there anything I can do. I want to add a copyright page but can not as there is no add page option, and then there is the change the chapter text on the left had side like instead of CHAPTER 1 I would want to put COPYRIGHT in its place ETC: here is also my version of Ibooks Author I am using. Thanks in advance everyone.
