What is needed to use a Logitech h110 headset with Mac Mini?

I have connected two different Logitech h110 headsets to Mac mini. One of these is brand new out of the package.

Neither one registers any input levels from the headset's mic, as shown on the Sound Preference screen.

Other apps also don't receive any audio input either.

Thanks for your reply.

Spec's:

Mac Mini (Late 2012)

Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7

I viewed the adapter at the link you provided.

It appears to reduce separate Mic and Headphone connections to a single connector.

The spec's for my Mac Mini (Late 2012) list the following:

- Audio line in minijack (digital/analog)

- Audio line out/headphone minijack (digital/analog)

Wouldn't this indicate that the separate Mic and Headphone connectors are to be used with this Mac mini?

Thanks for your time.
