Can't add music to my ipod?

When I synced my ipod on itunes it says my ipod is over capacity by just over 600MB so I went through my music library and deleted a few things, when I synced again, it said I had over 4GB of free space. However, when I try to add new music to my ipod, the bar at the top of itunes says its 'Copying 1 of 1' and nothing ever ends up on my ipod. (What's also really annoying is that it's copying 'Bed', a song which doesn't even exist in my library which doesn't make any sense.)

When I synced my ipod again it says it's 200MB over capacity, however when I got to my settings on my ipod it still says I have 4GB free space.

I'm super confused, could someone please help?

First check you sync settings. You may be syncing more media than you think.

Next:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Unsync/delete all music and resync

To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
