Question

Why doesn't iTunes (12.3.3.17) auto-sync my phone...

...anymore (IOS 9.3.1), despite option setting? Wasn't a problem in previous releases. Is there a config fix, or is there an iTunes software fix on the way?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.3.1

So, under iTunes on your computer, when you click on iTunes>Preferences>Devices, the "Prevent iPhone, iPods, iPads from syncing automatically" is NOT checked?

And you do not have Wifi Sync turned on?

Perhaps a better way to ask this is, from an iTunes software perspective, what conditions must be true in order for an attached device to sync with the iTunes library?

Basically, you must be running iTunes 12.3 or above, your device has to be recognized by iTunes, you are not syncing with iTunes via Wifi, and you do not have the "Do Not Sync" option turned on.
