iCloud wants to change my password - I do not!

When trying to log on to iCloud on my PC this morning, it asks me to enter my security questions, then tries to get me to change my password.

Does anyone know why?

I do not want to change my password.

This is the message I get when I try to log on to iCloud from my PC.

'You must verify your identity to make this change. Answer your security questions to continue.'

I have not made any changes and I do not want to change my password.

I can not log on to iCloud unless I do. Why?

If there is a suspicion that it might be compromised, why does it work everywhere else on all my devices, iPad, iPhone, MacBook Pro and this forum?!!

I want to use a service I pay for, without having to change my password.

Happening to me too. Only on my laptop via browser not on my 6 devices. I keep my iCloud ID separate from my Apple ID and I keep the former simple so I can use it on the fly on my devices having to switch the ****** thing and use pentagon level pwd protocol negates it's utility when I'm in the field working.

And no help from Timmy Cook's people. Of course.

iCloud wants to change my password - I do not!
