Q: How to add photos from mac to iphone without itunes sync?

If i sync photos from iTunes, I can't delete or edit those photos and videos on my iPhone. Why? Are there some other methods that will allow me to edit or delete photos on my iPhone?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), OS X 10.11.4 to iOS 9.3.1

you delete them by unsyncing them from your phone using iTunes.
