How can I use spotlight search for all my microsoft words files?
I want to use spotlight for searching in my microsoft words (.doc) documents without opening them.
Is it possible?

Only documents not all the other files?:
In SystemPreferences->Spotlight uncheck everything but "documents"
then do a search for .doc or .docx
It should search the contents. Is the drive they are stored on indexed with Spotlight?
I have ony one harddisk, so it must be indexed.
Can I check this?
Open SystemPreferences, open Spotlight, on the Privacy tab drag your main disk there, wait 2 seconds, then remove it again with the minus sign underneath. Close.
Spotlight will re index the whole disk. May take a while...
Thanks, I try it!
