I purchased from Apple.com/store a new SIM free iPhone 6s on March 31, 2016. I cannot hear my callers speak. I have tried using the headphones, but although I can now hear my caller's conversations, they are unable to hear me. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I was hoping to avoid a call to Apple Support. I am out of cell phone minutes for this month. I have no landline. Since you are the only one who responded to my inquiry, I guess I will be forced to wait for the month to cycle.
If you live close to an Apple Store, you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store and get help there as well.
Yes, it would be useful as an Apple owner if I lived near an Apple store. Unfortunately, I don't. Also because of a vision loss in 2001, I am no longer allowed to operate a motor vehicle. I can no longer appreciate where the road leaves off and grass begins. Since I am dependent on community transportation, I have no ability to travel the 40+ miles to an Apple store (meaning it is out of the community's county). Maybe at some point in the future I will have a relationship with someone from the community who also owns Apple products. I did know individuals in that community in 1989 who sold Apple products (back then it was called Macintosh), but I don't know where he is now. When I do a search for an Apple store, that community isn't listed today. Anyway, thanks for the replies. They are much appreciated by me. RRR 🙂
