Import .wav as patch

Hi!

I have a very distinct .wav sound I'd like to use as a patch in MainStage for a particular song for gigs.

As far as I have researched there are the following options, but I'm not super confident in either and would love any advice people can offer:

a) convert the file to a .patch (not sure how!) and drag and drop in as a standard patch

b) use a playback plugin to play the sound (although does this allow for pitch variation? We have changed the key of the track so need to be able to change its pitch)
