IMM5 video Codec to either convert my security footage or view it

Im trying to find a way to either convert my security footage that is in .AVI format with IMM5 video codec so I can watch it on my MacBook Pro or a media player that supports IMM5 video playback. Does anyone have a solution?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), Video Player, IMM5 Codec
