You likely have Repeat turn on. From the manual:
Play music
Control playback. Tap a song to play it and show the Miniplayer. Tap the Miniplayer to show the Now Playing screen, where you can do the following:
Tap to return to the song’s beginning.
Double-tap to play the previous song in an album or playlist.
Skip to any point in a song. Drag the playhead. Decrease the scrubbing speed by sliding your finger down the screen.
Share music. Tap , then choose a sharing option.
Shuffle. Tap to play your songs in random order.
Repeat. Tap to repeat an album or playlist. Double-tap to repeat a single song.
More. Tap for additional options.
If still problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
