You likely have Repeat turn on. From the manual:

Play music

Control playback. Tap a song to play it and show the Miniplayer. Tap the Miniplayer to show the Now Playing screen, where you can do the following:

Tap User uploaded file to skip to the next song.

Tap User uploaded file to return to the song’s beginning.

Double-tap User uploaded file to play the previous song in an album or playlist.

User uploaded file

Skip to any point in a song. Drag the playhead. Decrease the scrubbing speed by sliding your finger down the screen.

Share music. Tap User uploaded file, then choose a sharing option.

Shuffle. Tap User uploaded file to play your songs in random order.

Repeat. Tap User uploaded file to repeat an album or playlist. Double-tap User uploaded file to repeat a single song.

More. Tap User uploaded file for additional options.

If still problem:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Unsync/delete all music and resync

To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
