how can i distinguish which songs in my iTunes library are DRM or not?

I have just installed Apple Music and I am scared about losing all my old music if I decide to stop paying for this service in the future.

Hi,

FIrstly, back up your iTunes library so that your original music is available should you need to restore at a later date.

i Suggest that you add iCloud status column to song so you can see what is Apple Music and what has been uploaded. Apple Music scans the music in your library to determine what can be matched with Apple Music library. You original tracks are not altered so the should be in their original format without DRM. If however, you delete the original and redownload from Apple Music, DRM will be applied to those tracks. File Type will now be shown as Apple Music AAC audio file. Any track you add from Apple Music will be the same. You will lose access to this should you decide to unsubscribe.
