Hoar to helo since you only state an abstract problem and give no context or information about what you have or what is going on
Best one can do is make assumptions adn guesses - You state that you have OS X 10.11 - if that is correct then you have the Photos Application. If you are creating a photo book in Photos then you edit it by selecting the book in the source pane on the left (if the source pane is hidden go under the view menu ==> show source pane) and editing it - there is additional detail in the Photos Help at the right end of the top menu bar (a really neat feature to get help)
