Go System Preferences>Users and groups>Your user>Login Items and delete Control Screen (what ever that is).
No that didn't work. The on screen msg at boot-up is "On Screen Control" would like to control your computer. I went to System Preferences and removed it but it keeps popping back. Not a big deal just a nuisance.
That is some third-party software that you, or someone else, installed. Do you really have no idea what it is? When did you first see it?
I've only had the machine a week and it came with it.
Did you call Apple for tech support, and did they have you download a program so they could see your screen? Did you buy the machine new, and if so, did you buy it directly from Apple or from a reseller?
It looks like you installed vendor software for an LG monitor. If so, refer to the documentation to find out what it does. I have no idea.
I have now deleted the app and it seems OK. TKS.
