Extremely muffled Bluetooth

After getting my new IPhone SE and syncing it with my Nissan Frontier. I have two issues;

1. The incoming calls are extremely muffled to the point that I can barely make out what they are saying.

2. The display in my car used to show the name AND the number of an incoming call. It now shows just the number.

Everything was fine when I was using my IPhone 4S.

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated!!
