I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 9.3.1. Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed the battery percentage does not display correctly. It will show 100% for hours after unplugging from the charger. It will die when the battery percentage shows 25% to 28%. How can this be fixed? I have always had Date & Time set automatically and i do not travel between time zones. I appreciate the help.

Correction: It dies when batter percentage shows 25% to 80%.
Same problem... Iphone 6, after updating to 9.3.1 this happens
- Iphone turns off sometimes with 25% battery
- When Iphone is showing 1% of battery, at the moment of charging, the statistic changes instantly to 30%.
- After dying because of battery, it takes at least 1 hour to turn on again.
- Battery drains faster than before.
The phone itself is not more than 1.5 years old... Sincerely, its totally shameful pay a total expensive price for this.
Try running it down until the iPhone automatically shuts off, then charge it to full with the wall adapter.
You might need to do it twice to calibrate the battery indicator.
If no joy, make a genius bar appointment with Apple for an evaluation.
They have tools to test your battery.
To be honest, the same time and money required for (probably) change the battery allow me to migrate to another phone (more friendly and totally independent of the manufacturer).
But i will try.
Well, it's up to you what you want to do,
FWIW, my iPhone 6 that my son uses is running perfectly.
Unless you want to recalibrate your battery, you should never want the battery to die.

Same issue on my side (iPhone 5 / iOS 9.3.2). Please report bug to (https://bugreport.apple.com/). More bug reports - more chances that Apple will fix it.
BTW: Here is a link to existed OpenRadar (https://openradar.appspot.com/radar?id=4953416618999808) which is just a copy of bug from "Apple Bug Reporter".
