I did that after i reset the password and now its telling me that i cant use that icloud, which saying wrong apple id instead of wrong password

Perhaps this will help:

If you see an "Incorrect Apple ID or Password" alert when you set up iCloud in the Setup Assistant - Apple Support

Is this, by any chance, a used phone? If you are not the original owner, then it may be activation locked and asking for the previous owner's Apple ID. See this:

Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support
