Q: My new SE will not send pictures in messages even after a factory reset

Have just got new SE running 9.3 but every time I try to send picture attached to message it fails to send ?

Text only messages are OK?

My cell phone provider suggested a reset and one message went inc pic but from then on nothing keeps failing

Maybe back to shop to change phone after all it is only 2weeks old.

iPhone SE, iOS 9.3.1

Sorry your iphone SE and Apple have nothing to do with you being able to send and receive MMS message.

That is a carrier feature, and you would need to be provisioned to use it and have it turn on in message settings.

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Suggest you contact your phone carrier again to resolve the issue.

Possibly, the picture is too large.  What sizes are the pictures and do you know if your carrier has an MMS size limit?

With today's high megapixel devices, we see this a lot more than we used to.  You might also try a known small picture (icon or avatar) and see if that works to help narrow things down.
