iPad is locked to an Apple ID

We're trying to re-setup an iPad for a new staff member, and in the setup process the iPad appears to be "locked" to someone. It's requesting a password for a specific Apple ID that we don't have access to.

Any way to get around this? The person who it was locked to left the organization

Thanks!!

Welllll unfortunately the Apple ID associated with it is displayed as B******@lc*******

So we can't even figure out who it belongs to. Could be anyone. Great... Suppose that means there's absolutely nothing that I can do even in the way of blitzing it to reinstall iOS or anything right?? 😟

Can't track who it belongs to either since they didn't use the organization's email address to set up the Apple ID.

Good god.

Maybe RIP iPad...?
