How do I get my 4k monitor to run @ 60 Hz again?

I recently purchased the Samsung UHD 28" 4k monitor so I can run my Late 2013 Macbook Pro Retina at 4k 60 fps. Up until yesterday my Macbook has been running at 4k 60 frames through the mini displayport to displayport adapter. Now all of the sudden it's back running at 30 frames similar to the HDMI output. How do I get my macbook and monitor to run at 4k 60 frames again?

Hello Chance Has iPhone Trouble,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that you are concerned with the frame rate on your MacBook Pro. The following article provides information on using 4K displays with Mac computers. It lists what computers support what configurations and how/where to make the necessary changes.
