Epson 435 workforce won't print in El Capitan?

Hi, I have updated to EL Capitan recently and have been trying to add epson 435 workforce with no luck. The issue is that it shows up in the list of printers so I choose it but then under "use" i try to look for the model but workforce 435 is not found. I can only see epson 24 pin series and epson 9 pin series. I tried both choosing 24 and 9 series. My mac connects to the printer but prints nothing. There's nothing wrong with the printer because when i print from windows 7 it is fine.

I also tried connecting my mac to the printer via usb and it's exactly the same as above, it doesn't list my model.

What should I do?

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

When you connect to this model of Epson, either via network or USB, you should get a prompt stating that a driver is available from Apple and do you wish to download it. Since that is not happening (maybe due to a previous version of driver) then you can download and install the Epson Printer Drivers v3.2 package from Apple and then you should be able to add your printer.
