Incompatibility wifi ethernet

After upgrading to OSX 10.11.4 El Capitan, wifi and ethernet thunderbolt cannot be used simultaneously.


With previous operating system I was using simultaneously ethernet to connect to internet and wifi to connect to a private network from my time machine. Apparently this does nto work anymore. I can use either wifi or ethernet, but not both simultaneously. If I am connected through ethernet and activate wifi, ethernet crashes. If I have my wifi connected, I cannot connect ethernet. Is there a solution?
