Garageband: while im recording with the metronome on suddenly after a while stops beating, anyone knows what is the problem?

While recording with garageband with the metronome on, suddenly after like 3 min the metronome goes off and stops beating, does anyone knows what is the cause or if there is a problem with the lenght of my track?
