Problems with the pitch of audio?

I was trying to import an audio file of a guitar into Logic Pro X; however, when the file is converted into Logic, the pitch changes and it's really bugging me because I can't work with the file if it is out of tune with the rest of the track. I don't understand why this is happening because when I listen to the audio file in it's original folder; the pitch is correct and sounds good. It's only when I put it in Logic Pro X where the pitch changes and we have problems. I wanted to make sure it wasn't the audio file that was broken so I tried putting it in Ableton Live 9 and it works fine! I only have the Lite version of Ableton and I would rather use Logic for projects. Could anyone help me get Logic Pro X to sort it's tempo and pitch problems? As I said, it's hard to work with anything if the pitch changes; inspiration simply goes out the window.

Thanks a bunch!
