Q: Can I set my podcast to auto-delete (DRM)

Hello all,

I have a very complex rights situation with a number of performers, and the musical works that they're performing, on my podcast. It would help immensely if I could set the podcast to delete itself on a given date i.e. not only would it come off the iTunes store, but all episodes of the podcast would delete themselves from any hard drives that they were on. In the same way a film on a VoD service isn't available after the 24/48 hour hire window has expired.

I'm guessing this isn't possible, but wanted to ask just in case?

Thanks very much!

If you remove episodes from the feed then they will disappear from the Store the next time it checks - usually 1-2 days. It's not possible to delete files which subscribers have downloaded. DRM doesn't come into it with podcasts.
