I can only see 1 month of mail in my inbox. How can I change settings so that I can see all my mail?

JulianCG, I apologize, I swear that option "used" to be in Preferences but it isn't now. I wish you hadn't marked it solved. See if this thread helps Mail Rules - Move Out Of Inbox If 30 Days Old

apologies, just getting used to how this works. Turns out a whole load of emails got stuck on a server and didn't port over when I switched servers. All fixed.
