Q: selling iphone 5s. will hard reset/erase all remove all phone history and voicemails?

I am selling my Iphone 5s. will a hard reset and using the 'erase all data' under 'settings' remove/erase all phone history and voicemails?

I did these steps...hopefully the phone voicemails are gone (phone left yesterday)
