iTunes 12.3.3 becomes not responding when I connect my iPhone 5

Hi,

whenever I connect my iPhone5 latest iOs to my iTunes after I updated it to 12.3.3 the program becomes not responding. I have to foce quit it via the task manager.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall itunes, set the iPhone back to the factory setting, tried with a new user account on my computer, tried with a different library as well, nothing worked. When i connect the phone to my work computer everythig workes perfectly, when i connect my old iPod to this laptop it works as well. Somehow just the combination of the laptop with the iphone does not work.

Windows 7, Service Pack 1, 64bit.

I found a solution by myself following this steps:

uninstall itunes

delete the file "iTunes Library.itl" in music/itunes (make a copy as backup on desktop)

download itunes 12.2

run ituens setup as aministrator

at the end of the setup do not lunch the program (untick "run itunes")

run itunes as an administrator (right click "run as admin")

itunes should open blank

close itunes again

open itunes folder in music

delete iTunes Library.itl

copy latest "iTunes Library XXX.itl" file from the folder "previous itunes libraries"

rename this file into "iTunes Library.itl"

go to start - itunes. Hold the shif key when clicking onto the itunes icon

it should open a window where you can choose "choose itunes library"

select the "iTunes Library.itl" just created

itunes should open and if iphone connects it should work fine

I takes a while but it worked for me
