App alerts not showing up in the app

I get push notifications from my app 1st responder wireless, but when I click it and go into the app nothing is there. The app developer is stumped. They have signed into my account in the app on there test iPhone 6 and have the same problem. Anyone suggest what could be causing it? Also the developer says no one else is having this problem. Thanks
