I really don't understand why Apple get rid of the bold highlighted words after doing searchers in the Note. It was a very helpful tool. Also, the search bar is not as fast and efficient as used to be. I'm pro for changes and improvement. However, in this particular case, Apple failed. I hope, this problem will be fixed in the future.

Thank you for replying. But I'm not referring to this kind of highlighting. In the first version, the highliter tool was bolder and enable to find the word within the text. This version only shows you in which folder it is.
As you can see in my example, I searched for "22" and on the left side, the "22" was highlighted. It therefore did find "the word within the text".
I appreciate what you are trying to show me. Let's say I'm trying to find the word "x". When typing "x", the search bar you highlight "x" whith in the text under the search bar. However, try finding "x" among 10.000 words within the text that's is NO LONGER HIGHLITED is practically impossible!

Ah, I see. I'm assuming the entire section you're showing in your bottom shot (with many numbered sentences) is all housed within one very large note.
I submit Notes is not the ideal tool for housing large treatises. You might consider using some tool more suitable for large documents - like Pages.
My personal notes rarely exceed two or three lines.
