I am travelling to England with an i pad air.
I have purchased the travel adapter kit sold by apple and have the correct adapter end to plug into English wall outlet.
I am still nervous.. Isn't it 240 volt in England, whereas we are 120 volt in USA??
Won't 240 volt fry my i pad?

For reassurance (without any need for guessing or trusting 🙂) that your iPad charger can be used in the UK, check the power specifications that are printed directly on your charger.
They include: "Input: 100-240V".
We took our then-new iPad 2 to Ireland in 2012 and, with the proper outlet pin adaptor, our US-charger worked without any issues.
