iPhone 4, Left the sim card installed when sold. Will this cause me any grief later on?

Hello,

I recently sold my wife's iPhone 4 and forgot to remove the sim card.

I am sure I wiped the phone data as the phone had the startup message "Hello" if i remember correctly.

Are there any steps I should take to protect any data that may be on the sim module.

Thank you.

No - not really - the buyer will have to replace your SIM card - you can talk to your carrier about ending service on that card (if they have the details of that)

If you erased the phone then it should not be visible in your list of devices when you sign into iCloud
