Q: trying to activate iphone 6 but it keeps telling me my sim card is not the right carrier...but it should be

I am trying to activate my new iphone6 but for whatever reason it keeps telling me that my sim card is not from the right network when it obviously should be...but it says i need to send a network unlock request

If your iPhone is locked by a carrier, you need to contact this carrier to unlock it. Note that this is only possible when the contract has been already terminated and there're no charges left to be paid.
