Incoming messages are received fragmented and out of order
Why are some longer, incoming iMessage and SMS received fragmented and out of order?

That may happen when the sender is on a different carrier than yours and the messages (especially SMS) are broken up as they are transmitted through the gateway of one carrier into another
Not sure why it is happening to iMessages though...
