What are the dimensions of a 2-page spread in a Large Hardback 11x8.5 photo book?

I'm building a custom layout for a Large Hardback 11" x 8.5" Apple print products photo book. I'm building my full page images in Photoshop and Illustrator and then importing them into Photos v.1.5 to put the book together. I need to know the specific dimensions for a 2-page spread in this size of book.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), 27", Mid 2011, 3.4 GHz Intel i7

The overall book dimensions are based on the picture book format you choose. Most picture "frames" are in the 3:4 format proportions. The exact layout is based on the page you select from within the picture book options. It is not something that you can "import" from a third-party layout.

If I misunderstood your issue, please explain in greater detail.

Thanks everyone for your posts. I knew the spread would be 22" x 8.5" essentially, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing or forgetting something, like allowing for the gutter, etc. Old Toad, you pretty much confirmed what I had settled on, which is 22" x 8.5" plus about an 1/8" for the bleed. Thank you! RYSZ, if you choose the single, full-page image option for a page, then you can import your own image from a 3rd party app and basically make the page look like whatever you want. I'm not thrilled with Apple's themes for this project, so I'm making my own. It works on every page, except the back cover and the inside flaps, which don't offer the full-page image option. Thanks again for all of your comments!
