When updating to 10.11.4 my mac restarted but the wireless keyboard does not work. The green light keeps flashing but however many times I try and input my details to log on, nothing happens.

If your Wi-Fi is capable of generating a 5 GHz signal, try that.ckpad or Magic Trackpad is jumpy or erratic
Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time.
